Dreamed Collective is powered by volunteers, mentors, and community partners who believe in expanding access to opportunity through workforce support, storytelling, and skill-building. Together, we walk alongside refugee and immigrant women as they rebuild confidence, clarify career pathways, and grow their professional and entrepreneurial skills.
We are currently seeking volunteers to support the following focus areas:
Translation Support
Help make our workshops, career clinics, and mentorship sessions accessible to women and families navigating language barriers. Volunteers may provide live interpretation during sessions or assist with translating written materials.
We especially welcome support in Urdu, Pashto, Dari, Somali, Amharic, and Spanish.
Career Mentors
Are you a working professional in the Seattle area who enjoys sharing career insight? Workshop career mentors lead or support group sessions focused on workforce readiness and professional growth, helping participants develop skills related to resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, workplace confidence building, and career pathway exploration.
Business Development Mentors
Support women launching or growing small businesses through hands-on mentorship focused on marketing, social media, design, and communications. Volunteers in this role help participants create social media content, develop basic marketing strategies, build simple brand materials, and strengthen their online presence.
This role is also ideal for college students interested in marketing, social media, design, communications, or content creation who want to build real-world experience while supporting immigrant and refugee women.
